Overview

The Climate and Sustainability Committee advises and assists the Town Council, Planning Commission and staff on implementing the goals and policies of the climate and sustainability elements of the Town’s codes, guidelines and plans with special emphasis on updates for the Town’s Climate Action Plan, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and environmental sustainability programs. The Committee develops and recommends educational programs that develop community awareness of climate and sustainability issues and concerns and recommends actionable programs and regulations which foster promotion of a sustainable Woodside.
