Town of Woodside Environment and Open Space Committee: Spotlight On Owls and Bluebirds

Sunday, March 2, 2025

Discover the beauty and unique lives of cavity nesting bluebirds and owls, their importance to the ecosystem, and how they act as natural pest control agents in gardens. Learn how you can help create safe and welcoming habitats for our feathered friends.

Join us for engaging presentations:

  • Christin New will present the Nesting Box Program of the San Mateo County Bird Alliance.
  • Rick Morris (In The Wild with Rick Morris), a birder and local photographer, will share his magnificent photos of owls in their natural habitat.  Rick was recently featured in the Almanac and leads highly regarded local birding photography tours.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with nature and make a positive impact on our local ecosystem.

Doors open at 4:45 p.m.

Admission: Free. Wine and cheese will be served.
